A Dream, Water and Wind

My minds in the clouds
My heads in the sand
Afraid of the water
Not meant for dry land
Learned how to swim
But never to sail
Tied to the shore
Going nowhere

The winds on the harbor
The storms on the sea
I toss and I turn
Trying to sleep
I wake in the night
And wait for the sun
Hoping to learn
Ready to run

I know the stars
And shapes of the moon
So pull my anchor
Or cut me loose
Gone from the shore
Its where I’ll begin
Tied to a dream
Water and wind
